I went fishing at our local lake this weekend i thought i would try something new for bait i no that carp have a sweet tooth so i went to our local supermarket and brought some plain flour, a tin of carnation condenced milk, and some mature chedder cheese.

First i got a bowl and grated the cheese then i added the plain flour i mixed it up a bit before adding the condenced milk when mixed it came out like a dough i rolled it and made 15mm and 20mm balls once they were made i boiled them for 1min and laid them out on a drying rack, they go a bit soggy, sticky but when they dry they are just right.

Anyway i tried them out and the first fish was a 5lb tench and then a 11lb commom carp i later lost one at the bank before netting it i had a further 3 runs on them these can be used with allsorts of flavours.

GIVE IT A TRY ;D

And let me know how you get on

Weve never made boilies before, and you know how useless me and Zac are, well if you can do it so can we. We are gonna try it in the spring now as it is getting colder and closer to PIKE SEASON. But then again we could use fish oils in the boilies.
